June 20, 2013: The Italian luxury sports car maker Lamborghini, which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary has planned a series of events to take place throughout the year. The company had presented an extremely exclusive model of Lamborghini Veneno a couple of months back, of which only three units will be built and sold. While in India, the company has now launched a special Indian edition Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2, of which only 6 units will be sold in the country. The special edition is priced at Rs. 3.06 crore (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). The special edition Gallardo has been made available in three colours- pearl orange, white and pearl green as a dedication to the national flag. It also has the tri-colour stripes on going through fromt bonnet, roof to engine lid. While the interiors are all black with green and orange stitching on the driver and passenger seats respectively, along with white on the doors and center console, making it look a pure Indian car.
