Renault Scala pricing to start at Rs 5.93lakh, launch on 7th
There have been speculations that Renault will price the Scala higher than the Sunny. But it doesn’t seem that the speculations will come true. Renault has played it smart, as it will price the Scala same as the Sunny. They will not be charging a premium over the existing Sunny.

It seems that Renault has burnt its hands with the Pulse’s pricing and now the Chennai-based French company will rectify its mistake. The Scala’s pricing will commence at the same price like the Sunny, but it will be the top end model that will be expensive. The price difference between the top-end of the Sunny and the Scala will be between Rs 50,000 and 80,000. This is because the Scala has extra goodies like leather seats.
Our sources confirm that the pricing of the Scala will commence at about Rs 5.9lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is the same as the Sunny. The truth will be revealed once the Scala is launched on the 7th of September. Stay tuned as we shall be reporting the price.
