Fiat India had launched this premium sedan, Fiat Linea in the year 2009 and since then it has been garnering incredible sales in the country. The company has put in a lot of hard work developing this dazzling luxurious sedan and has incorporated a number of best-in-class features in it. The exteriors are simply amazing with a marvelous overall aerodynamic profile and other conspicuous features. The interiors are plush and are done up tastefully with high quality material. Fiat India has blessed this elegant luxury sedan with quite a number of comfort features, which add to the convenience of the driver as well as the occupants. Apart from these convenience features, the Fiat Linea Dynamic (Diesel) sedan also has some very important and essential safety features, which further enhance the security and protection of the passengers and the sedan. The engine of this stunning sedan is a power packed 1.3-litre advanced Multijet motor which is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission . The fuel efficiency of this majestic premium sedan is also quite good in addition to excellent pickup and efficient handling.
Exteriors
The exteriors of the Fiat Linea Dynamic diesel sedan are extremely enticing and will certainly lure the buyers. The front has been done up carefully with the front grille featuring chrome surround. This radiator grille is surrounded by a large head light cluster that has dual parabola lamps and side turn indicator fitted in it. The body coloured bumper has an air dam in the center along with a pair of fog lamps that add to the road visibility. The front wind screen is quite large and is made up of toughened glass that has been fitted with a pair of intermittent wipers. The total height is 1487mm, while the wheel base is of 2603mm. The boot compartment capacity of this premium sedan is nearly 500 litres, while it also has a centrally mounted fuel tank of 45 litres. The ground clearance of this diesel sedan is 185mm, whereas the minimum turning radius of this spacious sedan is close to 5.4 meters, which is quite impressive.
Interiors
The interiors of this sedan are awesome with luxuriant seats that have been covered with high quality premium fabric based upholstery that gives a swanky look to this premium diesel sedan. The interior surfaces are done up with high quality plastics being used that gives this premium sedan a sophisticated look. There are quite a few storage spaces with a big glove box , bottle and cup holders, a sun glass holder along with both driver and front passenger side sun visor, which add to the usefulness of the insides. The dash board is very smooth and has the central console, which houses the music system as well as the AC controls. This 1248cc power packed motor has the capacity to generate a maximum output of 91.14bhp at 4000rpm in combination with a peak torque of 209Nm at 2000rpm. The engine has been cleverly mated with a smooth and efficient 5-speed manual transmission. Fiat India states that this impressive diesel sedan has the capability to produce a healthy mileage of 20.4 kmpl , which is when driven under standard driving conditions.
Braking and Handling
This enigmatic diesel sedan is equipped with an efficient braking and suspension system. Both the front as well as the rear wheels of this elegant sedan are equipped with disc brakes that are very efficient and work perfectly well in any weather conditions . The company has also fitted this diesel trim with an advanced Anit-lock Braking System along with the sophisticated Electronic Brakeforce Distribution mechanism for proficient braking. On the other hand, the suspension system for the front axle has been incorporated with an independent wheel along with powerful helical coil springs and it also has sturdy double acting telescopic dampers and stabiliser bars.
