i agree the coustomer service is very bad i had done my booking in dec and still i got my car just now in july and when i asked why it has been delayed they gave excuse that i had booked petrol first and then changed it to diesel . the dont respond to phone calls or emails . if they are acting like this before giving the car i dont know what sercice we will get afterwards if there is any problem in the car .i have bought many cars before in my life but this was my worst experience buying vw polo
I COMPLETELY agree that the CUSTOMER SERVICE is VERY VERY VERY BAD, in fact it is WORST ANY CAR COMPANY CAN PROVIDE IN INDIA. TO ALL OTHER CAR COMPANIES..... DO YOU WANT TO COMPETE VW IN THE SALES AND SERVICE???? PLEASE TRY....I DONT THINK YOU CAN BEAT VW.... NO CAR COMPANY IN INDIA CAN AFFORD TO TAKE ON THE IRE OF CUSTOMERS IN INDIA. IS ANYBODY IN VW READING THIS.... AND TRYING TO ADDRESS THE ISSUES??????? IS VW REALLY SERIOUS OF MAKING A STRONG BASE IN INDIA?????? I THINK VW IS HERE IN INDIA TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK AND WILL VANISH LEAVING THE CUSTOMERS HIGH AND DRY. DOES VW HAS ANY DIVISION TO LOOK INTO ITS MARKETING AND SALES??? ARE THE DEALERS LEFT FREE TO DECIDE THE FAITH OF THE CUSTOMERS????????? AFTER HAVING MADE THE BOOKING THREE MONTHS BACK, I HAVENT GOT MY CAR AS PROMISED. NO BODY RESPONDS TO PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS, WHETHER IT IS THE DEALER OR THE COMPANY??? CAN SUCH A IRRESPONSIBLE CAR COMPANY SURVIVE IN INDIA????? DOES VW NOT PAY FOR/ PROVIDE ITS DEALERS WITH THE PHONES???? IS IT SO MISER THAT IT CANT EVEN AFFORD TO CALL BACK/ RESPOND TO SIMPLE QUERIES OF THE CUSTOMERS - WHO HAVE DEPOSITED THE BOOKING AMOUNT IN ADVANCE?????? VW VERY CLEVERLY HAS TAKEN SUCH DEPOSITS AS INTEREST FREE DEPOSITS. NOW IS SOMEONE WANTS TO CANCEL THE BOOKING, THE PERSON LOOSES INTEREST ON HIS HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!!!!! INDEED, if VW/ ITS DEALERS are acting like this before giving the car, NOBODY knows what service will the customers get afterwards, if there is any problem in the car. CUSTOMERS MAY NOT FACE PROBLEMS INITIALLY, BUT WHAT WHEN THE TIME FOR SERVICE/ REPAIRS COMES????? I have bought many cars before but this is turing out to be my worst experience ever in buying a car - VW POLO!!!!! MANY CUSTOMERS INCULDING ME ARE THINKING OF CANCELLING THE BOOKINGS AS THERE IS NO RESPONSE/ CERTAINITY OF AFTER SALES SERVICE. ONE IS INDEED FORCED TO THINK AS TO WHETHER VW HAS A REASONABLE SERVICE NETWORK. IF VW DOES NOT HAVE THE CAPACITY TO DELIVER THE CARS PER THE BOOKINGS - WHY DOESNT IT STOP MAKING FURTHER BOOKINGS - LIKE TOYOTA DOES FOR A LOTS OF IT CARS. VW SHOULD KNOW THAT GOOD LOOKS OF THE CAR WILL NOT MATTER IN THE LONG RUN - IF AFTER SALES SERVICE/ SERVICE NETWORK/ RESPONSIVENESS IS NOT EFFECTIVE OR IS NOT TO THE SATISFACTION OF ITS CUSTOMERS. VW - BE BEWARE AS THE PRESENT STATE OF AFFAIRS MAY INVITE A LOT OF CONSUMER LITIGATION FOR VW AND ITS DEALERS. MUST SAY - VW THIS IS A VERY POOR SHOW!!!!!

Dear, I truly agree with all of you and all your posts. I have been owning cars from 2005 till date all makes to begin with Maruti 800 to Verna top end till 2010 and i have enjoyed driving all the cars and got good services from all. in may 2010 i got my TRENDLINE POLO and trouble started as usual VW False sales promise & after sales. at the time of booking sales head had told they will be receiving accessories like fog lamps,remote lock ect within 2months of purchase but in vain .then engine noise,rattling,vibration & fog accumulation on wind shield for which i had to run around months together to just to ascertain the cause but it took 6 months to for VW Down town service center, Bangalore to know that the time i got the car one of cylinders was missing (Not connected properly to engine). then just to change quarter panel glass they took 1month 20days to replace but not in warranty i ended up paying from pocket. then was asking for extended warranty but sales managers suggested me to opt for it 6months before warranty lapses. and when the time came for extended warranty service manager clearly denied saying i was suppose to apply for extended warranty within 1st year of purchase. now warranty is over i dont know whom to address my issues.every time i have left car there is new service manager for service or repairs and when i ask for old managers they have left the company.i have not got car before 8-10 days minimum every time . one of the worst and pathetic showrooms and services. my dear friends pls do not purchase VW CARS. MY PERSONAL EXPERINCE. U WILL END UP CURSING VW.
Volkswagen- The world WORST CAR- I am Rajveer and I purchased new Volkswagen Polo Diesel this year from Ajmer from RDB cars Pvt Ltd and since Ive purchases it I am facing continuous problem in car. AC is not working properly( regularly tripping),Power window doesn't work properly, poor average,problem in gear shifting and many more problems. I have taken it to service station for more than 8-10 times but still I haven't got the solution. It is true that Volkswagen is bad not onli in sales but after sales service also. I purchased my Volkswagen Vento Trendline 'Breeze model on 25th October, 2011 from Volkswagen Delhi Metropolitan Frontier Autoworld Pvt Ltd. First, they delayed the delivery by more than 5 hours and I had to send my family back in an Auto. Our excitement of buying a new car finished then and there, Next, they would not service the car on Sunday and refused to provide 'Pick & Drop' service, saying everytime that no driver is available. My car met with an accident in last week of December. I sent it to the Metropolitan Frontier Autoworld workshop at 730, Lal Kuan, M.B Road, New Delhi. They got the repair done under Insurance cover. First, they made a wrong bill 2 times. Then, they refused to drop the car. Third, they told me that the car battery has got fully discharged in a week at the workshop - which is unbelieveable because if I am out of Delhi for more than a week also, the car starts in first ignition. New battery cannot discahrge so fast, unless it has been misused/ changed in the workshop! I had to haggle a lot just to get a service battery for a couple of days , so that I could at least take back my car (I was paying for taxi to commute to work). Fourth, some work was shoddy and incomplete. I had to send my car back to workshop but they would not arrange a Sunday pick and drop to rectify their problems. Finally, they picked up my car today (03.02,2012) and are telling me that the front radiator grille is also broken and will need to be replaced. How it was missed in the first repair - nobody is taking responsibility and instead putting blame on me and asking me to pay for it. They have also not had my car dropped and I am left stranded again. I had to go to marriage with family and for work at 8 am coming morning. I have been left high and dry !! This is the most horrible experience I have had and my previous experience ha been with Maruti (I had Wagon R), Hyundai (Have Verna and i 10) , General Motors (had Chev Optra) etc. Their is big difference in what they commit and deliver. No quality at all. VW India is like a cheap Chinese company - sell it and forget it. We were mistakenly thinking of having bought a German Car.
