This small van will be known as Citan and is likely to be based on Nissan Evalia, which was showcased at the 2012 Auto Expo in New Delhi. The new Mercedes Benz Citan is expected to make its first appearance at the famous IAA Commercial Vehicle Show in Hannover scheduled in September this year. The company has given Citan a tag of urban delivery van that will probably be launched by the end of 2012. In terms of looks, the new Mercedes Benz Citan has a striking similarity to Nissan NV200. Though the engine specifications of Citan are yet to be revealed but sharing some resemblance to Nissan Evalia, the engine of Citan might be the 1.5 litre of dCi engine taken from Evalia that would help Mercedes Benz Citan to perform in a much better way.
