The latest advert by Mercedes-Benz shows the true off-road capabilities of the vehicle to their extremes. The advertisement also depicts the way a customer feels about the iconic G-Class and the efforts behind the vehicle that lead him to expect the final G-Class. The mountains the vehicle drives on, the literally vertical journey the SUV offers with ease and not to forget the unmatched style in design - everything reflects authority and power that cannot be replaced. The efforts that go in creating the masterpiece, shown as glimpses, range across various phases starting from the designing period to the execution in terms of exteriors as well as interiors. The handstitched interiors also explain the dedication of Mercedes-Benz in creating the G-Class. The way the chassis is aligned with the framework and the way the stitches are done on the best in class leather. The V8 turbo engine is clearly shown to perform at high speeds, which just leaves a trace of dust as the G-Wagen passes. Mercedes-Benz also demonstrated its G-Class driving through the flowing water, a video tutorial of which the company separately displayed in a separate video about waterfording. The variations of four wheel drive are depicted in appropriate paths as per requirement so that the most can be achieved out of the SUV.
Mercedes Benz B Class, the first sports tourer that is running on Indian roads, the vehicle can be termed as a compact vehicle although if one looks at the length the vehicle is as big as C Class. The front fascia of the vehicle is embellished with three parted large modish front grille that proudly holds the Mercedes tri-star insignia in the middle. The headlamps are refreshed and now come integrated with LED day-time running lights and bi-xenon headlamps. The sports tourer runs on twin-five spoke alloy wheels that enhances the trendiness of the vehicle. The rear end of B-Class gives you a deja-vu feeling as its akin to E-Class and even the tail lamp layout is similar.
The cabin area is also renewed with the a freshly designed instrument panel and features like telematics, memory seats, 7 airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, Attention Assist, ESP.
The upholstery is top-class and what adds to the comfort is the fact that the front row seats are electrically adjustable so you can find your perfect position and once you sit behind the steering wheel you feel like in a commanding position with a complete view of the road. Mercedes-Benz B-Class is available with petrol and diesel variants both however the petrol version only is introduced in India. The 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 122bhp peak power. This is the smallest engine Mercedes-Benz has ever offered in India
