What is difference between old Hyundai i20 and new Hyundai i20?

Hyundai i20 received a facelift in 2009 and has since then improved its popularity. The changes in the exterior included new blistered headlights changed front grille design and a new muscular looking bumper. The side view features little to no changes. The interiors got some changes as well. These include new leather wrappings on the steering wheel, re-designed audio console 6 airbags, start-stop button, 4 disc brakes for the diesel variants, reverse parking camera and a chrome gear lever. The overall dimensions of the car were also changed to increase the cars length to almost 400cm and ride height was raised to 5.5 cm.

The engine does not feature that many changes, but one worth mentioning is the introduction of the VTVT feature which is Hyundai-speak for Variable Valve Timing.
