From May 2017, Mitsubishi launched a new variant of the Pajero Sport, 'Select Plus', with some cosmetic changes and added features. It comes with dual tone exterior colours and has a black roof and black pillars. The front grille is also black and has black body moulding on the front bumper, wheel arches and doors.
It also has additional features like cruise control, LED daytime running lamps (DRLs), electric folding ORVMs, a chiller box, DVD players in the front seat headrests for the rear passenger, Illuminated Scuff Plate and high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps.
It is powered by the same 2.5-litre, four cylinder diesel engine as the standard Pajero Sport. It produces 178 PS of power and 350Nm/400Nm of torque. It is available with both, a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed automatic transmission.
