Weekly Wrap Up - Maruti Swift facelift launched, Alto K10 coming on November 3

The week has been dominated by Maruti Suzuki India. The manufacturer has launched the Swift facelift, ranked no.1 in customer satisfaction index of JD Power Study, announced the launch date for 2015 Alto K10 AMT and showcased India bound SX4 at Sao Paolo Motor Show in Brazil. Maruti Suzuki Swift Facelift Launched at Rs 4.42 Lac

India's leading passenger carmaker Maruti Suzuki has silently launched the facelift version of Swift hatchback at Rs 4.42 lac, while the diesel model LDi starts at Rs 5.56 Lac (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The updated Swift features push start button, reverse parking assistant, new front profile, premium interiors and higher fuel efficiency by 10 per cent. It also gets 3 exciting new colors as Mysterious Violet, Fire Red and Granite Gray. The bookings for the new version have already started a week ago. Read More

Suzuki showcases India Bound - SX4 Cross @ 2014 Sao Paulo Motor Show

The homegrown manufacturer rolled out the Adventure Edition of its rugged Thar SUV. The Mahindra Thar Adventure Edition is limited to 30 units and is made available at selected dealerships. Honda recalls Amaze, Brio and CR-V over faulty Driver-Side Air Bag Inflator

Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) has made an official announcement over the preventive replacement of Driver Side Air Bag Inflator in its three models. This move comes as part of company's global recall regarding a possible incorrect assembly of the Baffle Plate in the Inflator. The company has recalled 1040 units of its Brio hatchback, 1235 units of Amaze compact sedan and 63 units of Honda CR-V, manufactured between September 2011 and July this year. The company would be replacing all the faulty parts for free at all HCIL dealerships across India. For this issue, the company will contact the owners individually. Read More

Nissan Recalls 9000 units of Micra and Sunny

Audi India Recalls 382 units of Q7 SUV

Audi India has issued a voluntary recall of its premium SUV Q7 manufactured between March and December 2012 over an issue of brake system flaw. The automaker is recalling 382 units of Q7 as a part of global exercise under which company is calling back about 70,000 units of A4, A5, A6 and A7 saloons and Q5 and Q7 in SUV segment to replace the vacuum line in braking system. Read More

New safety technologies by Honda SENSING

Honda Motor Company, Japan, has introduced new Advanced Driver-Assistive System, Honda SENSING, which shall be equipped on the new Legend to be launched in the Japanese market shortly this year. The system is another forward move by Honda towards collision-free motoring not only for occupants and motorcyclists, but other road users as well.
