Really, that is the name of the compact car the company has planned to launch in India on NSF (New small family) concept in an unbelievable price range of around 3 to 5 lacs (basic model), that means Volkswagen Up is expected to be the cheapest car of the company in India leaving company's own Skoda Fabia behind in the price, it was exhibited first in 2007's Frankfurt Motor Show and became the first choice of everyone.

And the best part about the vehicle is, that company is planning to launch Volkswagen Up in three body styles; 2 door hatchback, a 4 door hatchback version and a 4 door wagon carrying longer wheelbase.

The all new Volkswagen Up Is aiming to present an all equipped small hatch back that provides a comfortable riding experience to buyer on any road condition, it is expected to be equipped with rear affixed 1.2 litre. turbocharged 900 cc, two cylinder power-plant with ultra frugal direct injection petrol system which has the capacity of producing maximum output of 90 BHP, while the average is really up, 30 KMPL mileage which is higher than its competitors, will definitely attract everyone towards and make it the market leader as soon as it comes in the market. Wheelbase of Volkswagen Up is 3450mm long & 1630 mm wide which is equivalent to the ex-launched premium hatch back Polo. Seating arrangement is pretty much comfortable and enough spacious in all the three variants, 4 adults can easily travel in basic 2 door hatchback, while in 4 door version 5 adults can easily ride, and 4 door wagon has the capacity to carry 7 people in it. To add more comfort in all new Volkswagen Up! Two monitor screens are given; first 8 inch monitor shows the vehicle speed, fuel level and range, as well as your CO2 emissions, second 7 inch monitor controls climate radio volume, music selection, telephone, navigation, photos and movies etc. Outer look of the car is again very attractive, it is well curved with its bonnet & boot. Wheels of the car are well proportioned & placed, has a size of 18 inch.
