Audi Q5 will be available in India with both petrol and diesel engine options. There are 2.0L turbocharged petrol and diesel engines with a six speed manual gearbox, both engines are much flexible and strong so that anyone have a hard time to choose one of them. There is also a 3.0L V6 diesel engine with a seven-speed twin-clutched semi-auto transmission. The engines of Audi Q5 are wonderfully refined, and offers smooth and quiet driving.

The petrol variant offers a mileage of 9.6Kmpl on city roads and 13.7Kmpl on highway.

The diesel variant of Audi Q5, 3.0 TDI Quattro is packed with 2967cc V6-cylinderengine with turbo charger and common rail technology producing the maximum output of 176 KW at 4000 –4400RPM and maximum torque of 500NM at 1500 – 3000 RPM. This engine is more powerful as compare to the petrol variant as it is delivering more torque resulting in high performance and offering a mileage of 10.9 Kmpl on city roads and 15.2 Kmpl on highway.

Audi Q5 is available with two variants: its petrol variant Audi Q5 2.0 TFSI Quattro and a diesel variant Audi Q5 3.0 TDI Quattro. As already mentioned Audi Q5 is available in 2 variants among which are powered by different capacity engines but packed with the same seven speed automatic transmission gearbox offering different level of engine performance and acceleration.

Its petrol variant is equipped with 4-cylinder in-line petrol engine with exhaust gas turbo charging and charge air cooling, DOHC2.0L, 1984 cc engine delivering the maximum output of 155 KW at 4300 – 6000 RPM and maximum torque of 350 Nm at 1500 – 4200 RPM. The powerful engine results in crossing the mark of 100 Kmph within 7.2 seconds and accuire the highest speed of 222KMPH.

The diesel variant is equipped with V6-cylinder diesel engine with turbo charger and common rail technology producing the maximum output of 176 KW at 4000 –4400RPM and maximum torque of 500NM at 1500 – 3000 RPM.

This diesel engine delivers excellent engine performance that results better acceleration and with increased fuel efficiency so that the car can break the barrier of 100kmph in just 6.5 seconds and can achieve the top speed mark of 225kmph.
