XUV500 AT G 2.2 MHAWK ವಿಮರ್ಶೆ
The XUV500 G AT is the first and the only petrol variant of Mahindra�?�¢??s flagship offering by far and is priced at Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). It comes only with an automatic transmission. The XUV500 petrol primarily competes with the base variant of the petrol Jeep Compass, which is a manual offering.
The Mahindra XUV500 G AT is powered by a 2.2-litre motor, same as its diesel counterpart, in terms of displacement, and it even has identical power figures as well. The turbocharged mHawk unit is good for 140PS of max power between 4,000-4,500rpm and 320Nm of peak torque between 2,000-3,000rpm. The petrol engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission (sourced from AISIN, Japan), which is also optional with its diesel engine. The XUV500 G AT is a front-wheel-drive variant.
In terms of features, the Mahindra XUV500 G AT gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and a few connected services (standard W6 variant upwards), auto climate control, passive keyless entry with engine start-stop and an 8-way powered driver�?�¢??s seat. Also on offer are auto headlamps and wipers, logo projection lamp on ORVMs and cruise control. Safety features like dual front airbags, ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD (electronic brake-force distribution), tyre pressure monitoring system, hill hold assist and ESP (electronic stability programme) conclude its list of features.
