Look and Style: Rugged and very subtly 'not Duster'. The alloy wheels are therefore a must. That said, I bought it for it's looks. Comfort: Switched from an SX4 so appreciate the 205 mm ground clearance. Ideal for Chennai roads. Pretty comfortable drive. You don't really notice the big size when you're driving and yet its there. But that's probably the magic of the whole compact SUV segment. Pickup: Nothing to write home about. But its definitely in there. I switched from petrol car so I do miss the response to the pedal but there's a lot to compensate for that in city traffic. Mileage: Hmmm. a disappointing 12.6 kmpl in the city. With all the reviews I read I would've been happier with a 15 plus. But hey, my SX4 gave me 8kmpl and this is diesel which still accounts for something. Best Features: The look. Basically that killer grill and the alloys on a toughish compact SUV really make you feel happy. Needs to improve: The steering needs to have integrated audio controls. its 2014! There is a roll when cornering, maybe a drop in height will rectify this. Overall Experience: Great! Bigger than a sedan. Tons of boot space. Looks great. Diesel. Feels safe to drive down to Bangalore or pondy without thinking. Perfect upgrade for the 7-8 lakh petrol sedan owner. A bit expensive though.
