ertiga petrol low mileage

After 3 months of usage, the average achieved is 13.8 KMPL. I could not hv a Highway Testing till now

My Ertiga is giving me average of 14+ very nice car

I am planning to buy a PETROL ERTIGA. The showroom staff assure me of getting 12 to 13 km per liter of Petrol in city driving. I would appreciate a feedback from PETROL ERTGA OWNERS about their own experience vis a vis sowroom claims on this aspect. ASAP please. Thanks - Baps

My Ertiga petrol ZXi delivers mileage between 8-9 KmpL with 100% AC on, with 80% city and 20% highway driving.

Mr.Shisir. The average tested by me on petrol is 13.8 KMPL in city driving. If u r not in need of driving the car for more than 2500 KM per month, better go for Petrol version I hv made a small worksheet for deciding whether we go for a Petrol or Diesel version. Lovato, tomasetto, BRC, Greeko, Lendo renzi, etc are popular kits, I personally prefer Lovato and Tomasetto kits. Ertiga will require Sequential kit which ranges from 50K to 55K including RTO endodrsement. Mileage will increase by 50% after CNG..

I bought Ertiga ZXI in May 2012, and till date the average is about 9km per litre. I hope, it goes upto 12kmpl after the 3rd service as Maruti claims...

Surprising indeed. After second service, I am getting 12-13 km per ltre without AC (with AC on, it will be less). Can our colleague Mr Gopi elaborate on the conditions under which he is geeting 15 after 1st service?

Just go for ZXI...if possible ...The Ertiga is Fully loaded then In India, we do not get all these added facilities in a 3 row, 7 seater car (LUV) at 9.0L. Also the new impact of the announcement in 2013-14 Union budget on Luxury cars (SUVs) is NOT there on ERTIGA. Because it is 1373 CC engine, where has many of the SUVs are covered in this 1500 CC engine, which is never utilised for the full capacity. 1373 CC engine pulls well the 7 seater.I am getting a mileage of 13 KM in city with AC on...
