Maruti Suzuki India Limited is the largest automobile manufacturer of the country and has a lot of vehicles in their fleet. Among these vehicles, Maruti Swift is one of their bestselling hatchbacks. The company is offering it in both petrol and diesel engine options. This Maruti Swift LXI is the base variant, which is blessed with a 1.2-litre, K-series petrol engine with VVT technology. This mill has the ability to churn out a maximum power of 85.8bhp in combination with 114Nm of peak torque. It is blessed with a stylish internal cabin, which is incorporated with sporty wrap around door trims, three spoke steering wheel, a high volume glove box, rear parcel shelf and many other such aspects. The seats are covered with fabric upholstery and provide ample leg room for all occupants. On the other hand, the exteriors are quite appealing and designed with a number of features like a bold radiator grille, headlight cluster and windscreen with wipers. It has the ability to churn out a maximum output of 85.8bhp at 6000rpm along with a peak torque of 114Nm at 4000rpm. This petrol mill is coupled with a five speed manual transmission gear box, which allows the vehicle to attain a top speed of 160 Kmph. At the same time, it can cross the speed barrier of 100 Kmph from a standstill in close to 12.29 seconds. This petrol motor is incorporated with a multi point fuel injection supply system and can deliver a decent fuel economy. On the highways, this hatchback can generate about 18.6 Kmpl and 15.6 Kmpl within the city.

This variant is blessed with a rack and pinion based electronic power steering system, which is tilt adjustable. It supports a minimum turning circle of 4.8 meters.
