Hyundai Veloster Review

Hyundai Veloster is a two door coupe car which was first unveiled in January 2011. Although this car is available in global market, Indian market will see the revamped model of the sports car. 2012 Hyundai Veloster will definitely create sparks in India on its arrival. Speculations are rife that Hyundai will display 2012 Veloster during the Auto Expo in New Delhi.
After the success of Hyundai EON, the South Korean car manufacturer is taking leaps and bounds in Indian market. It wishes to render each and every car style to Indian market. Hyundai India plans to introduce 6 new cars in India in coming 3 years. The break up is done as 2 cars per year. The car maker has ticked on the checkbox of Hyundai Veloster this time which will be next travelling to India.
The Hyundai Veloster is a compact sports car which began sales in South Korea since March 10, 2011 and in the United States at the summer of 2011. It was unveiled on January 10, 2011, at the Detroit auto show, and fills the void left when Hyundai discontinued the Tiburon after the 2008 model year.
The car is different from many competitors as it has one door on the driver side and two on the passenger side. Now one might get confused about the seating capacity of the car. The seating capacity of 2012 Hyundai Veloster will be 4 only; however, the third door offers the glimpse of a sporty coupe and with the added benefit of easy access for rear-seat passengers. Now, this is an all new and unique design concept which no one has though so far. The front is dominated by LED Headlight accents. The aggressive front grille and a beveled hood with dual scoops, give Veloster a look that sets it apart from the competition. However the most stunning part is the panoramic sun roof in Hyundai Veloster.
At the rear two things are worth noticing. A rear view camera for viewing vehicle at back in a 7-inch touchscreen and a dual chrome tipped exhaust placed just in the centre escalates the styling of Veloster to an unimaginable level. The boot of Veloster is too spacious to keep every necessity. The rear seats can also be folded to enhance boot space. The 18 inch alloy wheels with inserts painted in body color looks like they are in motion even when they are stationary. Hyundai Veloster exteriors are simply amazing with everything shedding innovation and practicality.
The Veloster uses Hyundai's new BlueLink system, which is similar to OnStar used in GM vehicles, to provide customers with automatic crash notification, vehicle diagnostics, location sharing, SOS Emergency assistance, Remote vehicle start option, etc. Veloster, being a sporty car is equipped with a total of 6 airbags. Hyundai Veloster safety is one thing to salute for. The car will be packed with Front Occupant classification system and sophisticated Vehicle Stability Management System. The car is built on high tensile strength steel body which grants it extra toughness. The major features are grabbed by Hyundai Veloster interiors which are nicely done with lot of engineering and technology. Spacious and roomy interiors are stuffed with GPS navigation and Satellite Radio with voice recognition that displays a detailed map of any place of interest with turn-by-turn audible directions to the desired place. The available 450-watt Dimension AM/FM/XM Satellite Radio/CD/MP3 audio system delivers plenty of power with 8 speakers—including an 8-inch subwoofer—to keep up with your eclectic tastes. The 4 seater, 3 door coupe can be brought in India by next year but people have started talking about this mesmerizing car from now only. Hyundai Veloster price in global market is around $ 17,000. So it can be expected that Indian market will receive the 2012 Veloster at Rs 7 lakh-Rs 8 lakh. Till now, coupe cars in India are only offered by luxury car makers priced at larger-than-life figure. Though coupe cars are not very popular in India, Hyundai is ready to take the risk and bring its super sports car Veloster in India.
