The XUV500 is more expensive than Force by approximately Rs. 3 lakh. In terms of size Force has the upper hand and also wins the round in ‘best third row space’ when compared to its competitors. Force also achieves more in terms of boot space as compared to the XUV500. Power output in both the vehicles is more or less the same. The XUV500 however comes with a 6-speed manual transmission whereas Force features a 5-speed gearbox. 4WD is offered only in the XUV500 while Force comes with the standard rear-wheel drive.
The XUV500 takes a clear lead in the features department with its GPS navigation system, touch screen display, hill hold and descent display, glove compartment with a laptop holder among other features.
