It was mzing to have low cost hatchback car. The good mileage & low maintenance cost is great. Due to its tenure i would like to replace wagon r with another maruti car. Now, i would like to drive 7 seater maruti car to gain another experience, over all i am very much satisfied with wagonr  & it's service.

From mileage point of view, it gives a good 17 to 19 kmpl. Good engine performance. No noise noticed yet, even after dealing for 7-8 days engine starts immediately. Shuk observer and outer build quality should be improved. Gets easily dented with a very minor touch. This design is suitable for 60/70/80 kmph speed. Also at present several alternatives are available like Magnite, Triber and Punch at almost the same price as Wagon R & with more features. The average middle-class family goes with Wagon R due to after-sales services and a well-refined engine. Overall it's a good deal. It's can be excellent when outer build quality & inner plastic quality improve without any cost hike.

I purchased a new model of Maruti Wagon R CNG last year in June/July from the dealer. Now I find all glasses(including windshields) have developed permanent marks of water drops. At their authorized service centre, they said I might have used bore-well water for washing the car. Funny. Bore-well water in Navi Mumbai? I told the watchman to wash it with municipal supply tap water. I had tried Colin but failed. They admitted the water drop stain problem is common in this model. This evening, while at CNG station, I checked with other car owners. Everybody had the same problem. All glasses have got water drop stains. Why is this? My son had an Alto, its windshields never had this problem. Is this a cost-cutting measure by Maruti? Otherwise, the car is good. But all glasses have developed permanent water drop marks.

Really very happy with my car. Best quality, low maintenance, low service charges.

Good basic family car but expect a little safety for the family, and even after-sale service can be better than previous and hope that Maruti makes a better product for this very traditional and old friend of Maruti better than this and makes the new platform on which it is making the cars safe.
