I am the owner of alto 800 Up44aa5422 lxi 2013 model and I have covered an almost 258000 km and still the engine touches the high speed of around 140 km/hr and the engine is strong and still that much drive the engine gives the excellent performance and honestly the engine gives mileage of around 20kmpl in AC and around 22-23kmpl per liter I am fully satisfied with the car and the service cost is very low around 1500rs.

Great car. Especially for a small family. Fule effective, great cooling capacity.Value for money. Incredible engine. Lower service and maintenance cost.

My review of my second-hand alto LXI 2006. I would never consider this as the second hand because I bought this by a nice gentleman who has maintained this car meticulously for six years. I would say my Alto is built on the grounds of simplicity, utility, and value for money. Recently changed clutch plate to my surprise (which obviously I did not show in the service station) it cost me 5000 bucks. No complaints till date except small delay while accelerating. As per my view, it demands to be driven with steady changes in speed no sudden jerks, acceleration and deceleration please, the brakes of it are also not that much responsive. I wish I would have clocked time back so that my Alto would remain younger for many more years.

Since 2004, Alto has been the top-selling car in the country and to maintain the feat for more than a decade is nothing short of extraordinary. The new Alto 800 is built on the same platform of its predecessor but is now stiffer. Maruti has stuck to the same formula of the old Alto and kept the changes to the design and ergonomics of the car much like the old one. The new Alto looks simple and aims to satisfy the mass market consumers with the basics. The Alto 800 gets the basics of an entry-level hatchback right. It's easy to drive has a peppy engine and the service costs don't burn a hole in the pocket. The only bit missing from the package are anti-lock brakes and dual airbags.

After a long term review of Maruti Alto. Best in segment but some issues like car is so light, no safety features and the Maruti Suzuki also focus on mileage ,the car mileage is pretty good no issues on mileage, but you drive an Alto at higher speed, the car is up when you turn it on corners, and you may go now and buy it if your budget is around 3 lacks but again, I feel you should check Renault KWID as it has many features than the Maruti Suzuki Alto and Maruti Suzuki service is very fabulous than Renault.

Average car. Mileage is less compared to other cars which have more engine power. Body is also weak. It cannot withstand heavy accidents. After riding some time there used to be sound which company service executive told that it's sound from the clutch bearing. When air conditioning is on the power of the car is too low.
