Hyundai making fool with wrong data on MID!!

Its been three months(bought it in march) am driving this new Santro Sportz model. Earlier I was having Celerio Zxi which I sold after 1.5 yrs. Why Santro: Because it was from Hyundai and as spacious as Celerio within my budget. Of course, it has some features missing in Sportz model compare to Celerio ZXi which is a bit cheaper also, but I like the sturdiness and quietness in the cabin of Santro. Also, the suspension is much better as compare to Celerio and you hardly hear any bump on the road inside the cabin. Ride quality is good and feels stable even at high speed. Everyone is impressed by the quietness and comfort as compared to Celerio. Engine: While the Santro has 1.1 ltr 4 cyl. engine, it lacks in the overall performance. The Celerio's 1ltr engine was more responsive and has better low-end power to push from 1500rpm with good mileage. You feel more connected to the car. On the other hand, Santro has very low accelerator response till 2000 rpm and does not feel like a 1.1 ltr engine. The engine is laggy and feels dead. You need to keep it near 2000 rpm for better driveability. That unnecessary revving to keep the car running results in low mileage. Mileage: Santro:13/16 kmpl max with sensible driving. The worst thing is that the meter keeps me showing mileage above 17 all the time, even in local. It was just my observation that it's drinking too much fuel and I started calculating the actual avg. which was surprisingly low at 13kmpl local. Celerio: 16/19 kmpl. Both cars are stable at high(120+) speeds but Celerio is bumpy and noisy even on small potholes. Hope it helps.
