Maruti Swift LDI SP Limited Edition is a new variant launched for this line up. It comes with minor updates for the exterior, interior and comfort facets. Revisions to the grille and the headlamp area give it an improved structure, while fog lamps add to the safety element. Powering the vehicle is a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine, which displaces 1248cc. It has 4 cylinders and 16 valves incorporated together. The company has integrated the plant with a 5 speed manual transmission, which ensures hassle free shifting and better performance. It unleashes a power of 74bhp at 4000rpm, together with a torque of 190Nm at 2000rpm. The engine has also been armed with a fixed geometry turbocharger along with an intercooler.
