Hi Friends........ I have a santro car 2000 model.The car is going great and i am really satisfide.I used to get 17-18 kpl in the city and 19-20 on the highway.Its the older model with 999cc engine.At 55 bhp its power and performance was on par with the other cars in its class.I will go with my santro car delhi to kasmir-Srinagar-Kargil-Leh-Ladakh-Rohtang-manali and back to Delhi.It will be 4000 KM.I am very happy with my car.

Hi there. I owns a Santro LPG GLS. The car is giving excellent mileage even before the first service. I purchased the car on May 7, 2010 and I am getting 13.6 km/Liter on city and 15.4 in highways on LPG. The power is little bit less on gas as compared to petrol. But all other features are very good as compared to other cars in this class. My first option was to buy a wagonR. but when I drove the new wagonr blue boy, i was quite disappointed with its lower power and also the shape. The power of the engine is like my old 800cc maruti car. I could not feel much difference. But the interiors looks good. I suggest to go for a Santro LPG if you are trying to save your pocket. It makes a lot of difference if you are going to use your car quite often. The comfort is uncomparable to other cars in this class. If you do not like, please try Chevrolet Spark. thats also a nice car. Best of luck, Santhosh

Watch out the clutch assembly. There is a design porblem with the clutch assembly. It burns out very frequently specially when driving on LPG. Car is extremely sensitve to driving. Extremely poor on power on LPG. Knocks on LPG. Poor driving pleasure. Poor performance. High maintennace.

hi! frends i purhesd sntro xing gls this a good car in rang of 4-5 lak when i drive this i feel very comfort but the main problem with this i e: mileage i dont know whaT I should do with this problem my some friends sugges me that i have to insttall cng kit with my car but i littel wary about this boz this is new car so i dont know, i take this suggesion or not. overall car is good............ if any suggesion to me plz revert back to me email: vivekk071@gmail.com

hi huys, i m dr.madan kumar ,planning to buy a car ranging 4-5 lac,i reviewed santro, chevrolate spark n i-10,as i summerised the comfortable,smmoth wth good mileage is santro first chaioce n nxt comes chevROLATE.n the thierd choice wud be i-10 magna.actually this wud b my second car after wagon r,i just want to enquire which one is more preferabel in first two,plz give advice if any other gud car in mkt.thanks in advance guys

Cost of petrol is Rs.55 p/l at present. In next 5 years, no doubt, it will be Rs.80 plus. The average mileage that is given by GLS is around 13 k/l. Almost all other cars in this segment is giving higher mileage. The cost of the other vehicles also more or less same.

which car to buy? santro gls or wagon r? love to go on long drive. kindly suggest which will give better comfort and value for money.

iam purchased 2009 model santro but iam not a statisfied no milage over maintanance

santro is super car,super performance, but no milage ,extra costs for servicing,no milage,

i,m using santro for the last 6 years .i,m working at a village level having humpy bumpy roads ,,,it,s really a solid,value for money,,...... one should bye it for toughness ,16-19 km/L milage,sofa like sitting ,safety,road visibility....and much more....own it, u will be in love with santro....

I have a zantro xing gls petrol 2008 model car...only milleage is the problem...

I have planned to buy a new car ranging from 4 to 5lakhs,With Economic fuel efficiency and comfort, kindly suggest I have in confuse to select Santro xing gls LPG or Maruthi wagon Duo,some of my friends told me Wagon Duo is economic but bad riding comfort like its small wheels but santro lpg has great performance with its pick up & road grip, kindly give actual result of its LPG mileage (speed range from 70km/hr to 100km/hr) Regards Venkatesh D
