Hyundai Elite i20: Elite indeed

When it comes to the premium hatchback segment it is Hyundai Elite i20 that dominates all its rivals. It is one car which is sure to turn your heads when it comes to looks. The looks of Elite i20 is indeed Elite. The looks of the car are proportionate. The hexagonal grill with chrome around it is the first thing that attracts you at first when you look at the car from the front. The backrest incline angle is perfect, there is a good amount of legroom, shoulder room and headroom. Even somebody about 6 ft in height will be comfortable in the back seat over the long journey. The rear AC vents add to the comfort.   The car is also a very practical place to be in with a lot of places to store your stuff in. The door bins are large enough to hold big water bottles. The Dashboard box is air cooled to keep your beverages cool.     The boot is also a decent size to keep a decent amount of luggage in it. It is square boot with minimum suspension intrusion. It is not the best in the segment in terms of boot capacity but it does the work quite well.     When it comes to driving, it is a very easy car to drive. The steering is very light which helps to manoeuvre it in city traffic very fuss-free. The light steering makes parking this car a breezy affair. But when the car comes on the highway the light steering doesn't inspire much confidence. You cannot take high speeds into the corner because of light steering. Otherwise, the car is quite stable on the highway as well as the city.   The power delivery is quite linear in this car. It never feels out of breath. It is the engine which loves to be revved hard till its red line. The engine is very refined. It's hardly audible inside the cabin. The suspension of this car has been set up for a comfortable ride. the car glides over most of the potholes and the patchy section of the road without any fuss.   Overall the Elite i20 is a complete package which offers you good looks.
