Chevrolet Beat Details Quick Start on Chevrolet Beat
Cons : Poor mileage, poor seating space for rear passengers
Look and Style
the lt variant is very stylish with the roof rail
Comfort
the power steering is the softest I have ever driven. The gas filled shock absorbers are just great. Since the car is small compared to other cars in the same segment it is easy to drive in traffic.
Pickup
The diesel pic up is poor, but it is the same as compared to others in the 1.3 litre segment. For a 1 litre engine I should say pic up is ok.
Mileage
city mileage in bumper to bumper traffic is 13, normal city with less traffic 15. Highway mileage at 70-80 kmph is 30, highway mileage at speeds above 100-120 kmph is 24
Best Features
The hill assist feature is great, when you are on a slope you don't meet to accelerate , the vehicle adjusts itself to a preset rpm and the vehicle moves automatically in hills or steep slopes.
Needs to improve
city mileage, rear seating space. Since my wife uses it rear seating space is not a problem as there are no passengers, but for family use it is difficult
