Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Waterspeed Collection showcased at the Pebble Beach

Rolls-Royce, the ultra luxury carmaker showcased its Phantom Drophead Coupe Waterspeed Collection at the Concours D’Elégance, Pebble Beach. The automaker is celebrating Sir Malcolm Campbell’s world record of water-speed set on 1 September 1937. Sir Malcolm, the British water sportsman set a world-record of 126.33mph on Italy’s Lake Maggiore from Bluebird K3 boat which was powered by a Rolls-Royce R-Engine. The manufacturer in order to celebrate this incredible feet created the Waterspeed Collection - 35 specially designed Phantom Drophead Coupés. One of them was showcased on the concept car lawn at Pebble Beach on 17 August.

Phantom Drophead Coupe Waterspeed models embraces finest of contemporary materials furnish along with the Brushed steel and an exclusively developed ‘Maggiore Blue’ color scheme. The interior gets hand-crafted Abachi wood inlays. The exterior coachline and laser etchings inside the car adds more to its elegance.
