Another cheap small car!

India is one of the most sought after country for small cars market. Many car makers has announced to bring their compact car in the hot Indian market. Now General Motors is mulling bringing a low cost compact car very soon in the market. This upcoming car is believed to be priced below $4000. The car will be manufactured in the country or at least in Asia and Asian market will be targeted. Obviously, GM had inspired by the gala success of Tata Motors' Tata Nano. Nick Reilly, GM's newly appointed Executive Vice President, International Operations, says that a number of car makers are willing to join the bandwagon after Tata Motors. Meanwhile, Tata Motors has delivered its Tata Nano in the country and launched it in a couple of countries. It is also going to launch its Tata Indigo Vista IGNIS. For this launch too , GM is looking forward for a partner. In view to acquire its Opel/ Vauxhall business, the company is searching for a alliance.
