Commodore Omega Sedan now five star

The newly upgraded VE Commodore Omega sedan is one of the best selling model of GM Holden. This model has been acknowledged by the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) as a confirmation model in the category of best safety cars, and has been included in the five star car models in the safety rating category. The result is a out come from the list of VE sedan category cars. A category of all those cars in which there is hardly a chance of driver knee injuries. The Commodore Omega Sedan is provided with a passanger seat belt reminder which is been introduced in the car in October 2008. This feature is been provided in addition to the existing front passanger side impact airbags and curtain airbags all which are standard in their origin.
    Further the improvements also includes safety features like Electronic Stability Control (ESC) having Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution(EBD), Electronic Brake Assist(EBA) and Traction Control System(TCS).
    The Chairman and the managing director of GM Holden - Mark Reuss is happy with the result which has came forward. And oftenly said it to be encouraging for the company officials in receiving the third party endorsement.

      This is good news for the masses as the Omega is Holden?s highest selling locally-produced model.The result comes from the addition of a steering column shroud energy absorber across the VE sedan range that helps to reduce driver knee injuries, and a passenger seat belt reminder on the Omega sedan.
