April 21, 2016: Renault has debuted the all-new Koleos at the on-going Beijing Motor Show. The Koleos has been completely re-designed and looks nothing like the outgoing version. It is based on the same CMF platform as the Nissan X-Trail, developed by the Renault-Nissan alliance. For the Chinese market, engine options include a 2.0-litre 150bhp motor and a 2.5-litre 186bhp engine mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. It is unclear whether Renault will launch the new Koleos in the Indian market, considering the dismal performance of the current generation. The Koleos competes against the likes of the Hyundai Santa Fe and the Honda CR-V.
