December 24, 2014: The new Hyundai Sonata has won the 2014 GOOD DESIGN Awards for its quality design, function and aesthetics from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. The all-new seventh-generation Sonata offers a more refined look through a new Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language, stiffer body structure, better ride quality, reduced noise, vibration and harshness and advanced safety and convenience features. . The 2015 Sonata was awarded 2014 TOP SAFETY PICK+ award and comes equipped with optional forward collision warning, by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS). Available with a host of active safety features such as Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, a Lane Departure Warning System and rear parking sensors.
