While the other petrol variant of Volkswagen Polo has a 1.6L, 1598cc petrol engine along with 5 speed manual gearbox that cranks out 102bhp of maximum power output at 5250rpm with maximum torque of 153Nm at 3750rpm.  The diesel variant of Volkswagen Polo comes with a 1.2-litre 1199cc, 3 cylinder, in line engine churns out a top power of 74bhp at 4200 rpm and 180 Nm of peak torque at 2,000 rpm.
