It's fuel-efficient and easy to handle. With X1, it requires no efforts to overtake the traffic. The interiors of the X1 is designed smartly and sensibly to keep you at the centre of comfort. However, if you are particularly looking for an SUV for travelling long distances. Then I will recommend you to go for its big brother X3.

BMW X1 is by far the best car in its segment. Having competitors such as Audi Q3, Volvo XC 40 and Mercedes GLA the BMW X1 is the clear winner. Having taken test drives of all the 4 cars the BMW stands out as the best. It is the biggest car in the segment the most powerful, might not have as many features as the XC 40 but it is a BMW so it has the best driving dynamics compared to the others. The comfort and luxury offered in this car are just brilliant. The 1998 CC engine produces a massive 188 horsepower which is a very punchy motor so driving experience on a highway is wonderful. The body roll is very well contained and though the steering is on the heavier side the high-speed stability is great. It's a driver's car and anyway who enjoys driving will love the car. Overall a fun car to drive with great handling. The only concern anyone would have is maintenance but if one opts for a 3-year service package then that is also be taken care of.

A power-packed SUV. The BMW provides you a taste of extravagance of the luxury car segment. Value for money - I doubt but hey it's a BMW and not necessarily the one for you if you're a "is it worth it" kinda person. It's relatively small to be called an SUV but doesn't lack any road presence with the others. Packs 400Nm at low rev ranges like 1500-2000 rpm and takes it all the way to the redline. Road noise can be a common complaint since it runs on 18 inches. Huge panoramic sunroof and paddles accompany the plenty of features of the cabin. Comfort is up to the mark, not overwhelming as one would expect from a beamer, however. If you're the one driving and fun precedes budget in your list, with 50lakhs in hand, X1 is the one for you.

I am maintaining BMW X1 and almost 300 km drive from my side. The car feels a lot like the BMW X3 except the front fog lamps. Once inside the panoramic, sunroof, and super huge windshield make the inner cabin look huge. A Very comfortable drive and the amazing power getting in this vehicle. Heads up display is bang on. A little disappointed with the infotainment system but overall an amazing car.

Audi is a better option than in this price range. In terms of practical milage too & comfortable also.
