This variant is powered by 2523 cc of DI Turbo diesel engine that delivers 63 hp of power@3200 rpm and max torque of 180 Nm@1440-1500 rpm to all four wheels as it is a four wheel drive version. The engine comfortably works with a 5 speed transmission gearbox. A ground clearance of 183 mm, tyre size of 215/75 R15, turning circle radius of 5.9 m and wheelbase of 2794 mm are the key points of Mahindra Bolero DI (Direct Injection). The engine is compliant to BSIII emission norms. Although this is an old variant in Bolero’s line up, it comes with features like advanced digital display, new steering wheel, stylish vinyl fabric upholstery, etc adds vibrancy and ultra modern style to Bolero. The exteriors of this variant are upheld by curved clear lens tail lamps, ORVMs, Hawk eye headlamps, new muscular bumpers, well carved out wheel arches with thick fenders, and SUV styled aggressive grille which enhances the intensiveness of its muscular fascia. Aerodynamically designed blend in side repeater lamps, door handles with good grip, aesthetic back door handle cover, side ventilators to circulate fresh air inside the car are small but practically useful features in the SUV.
