The facelifted Renault Duster was launched on March 02, 2016. Initially, it was launched only with an AMT option instead of the regular automatic. Offered with both the fuel options, petrol and diesel, it is available in five variants â?? Standard, RXE, RXL, RXS and RXZ. The AMT is offered in the RXL and the range-topping diesel RXZ variant. The Renault Duster 110PS Diesel RXZ is available at Rs 13.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi as of May 8, 2017).

Powered by a 1.5-litre dCi engine, the Duster automatic generates 110PS of max power and a peak torque of 245Nm. Linked to a 6-speed Easy-R AMT transmission, it gives the driver the convenience to drive the car without shifting gears; moreover, at any point of time, he can take control over the SUV by switching to manual mode.

Based on the regular top-end RXZ trim, this Duster automatic is loaded up to the brim with features. On the exterior, it gets firefly fog lamps, new kayak satin chrome roof rails, waterfall LED tail lamps, gun metal finish alloy wheels, body coloured ORVMs and outside door handles, turn indicators on ORVMs and chrome garnished door side sill.

The interiors feature soft touch dashboard and door trims, Cedarwood black interior colour harmony, premium embossed seat fabric and chrome garnish on interior door handles.

For added convenience, it gets automatic AC, power windows with illuminated switches, touchscreen infotainment system supporting Bluetooth, USB and AUX-in (with navigation), driver side auto up-down anti-pinch power window, steering mounted controls, Eco mode, front driver seat armrest, height adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, height adjustable front seat belts, illuminated glove box, electrically foldable ORVMs, cruise control, speed limiter and several others.

On the safety front, it gets a host of protective equipment like ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Breakforce Distribution) and Brake Assist, rapid deceleration warning, driver and passenger side airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), speed sensitive door lock, reverse camera with guidelines and hill-start assist among others.

The Duster automatic lock horns with the automatic trims of the Hyundai Creta, Ford EcoSport and Nissan Terrano.
