Ford India is riding high on the success of its entry level hatch model in the auto bazaar. In a bid to improve its sales further, the company has rolled out the 2014 version of Ford Figo with minor cosmetic updates. What truly is impressive about this latest version is its smart features that lets you stay connected to the world all the time. The company is offering this refurbished version with in-built Wi-Fi connectivity system along with several other innovative features. It comes with advanced features such as speed intermittent wipers, intelligent central locking system, rapid deceleration warning, speed sensing volume control and other advanced features. The company has not made any changes to the technicalities of this model and it is offering with the same old petrol and diesel engine options. The Ford Figo Diesel Titanium is the top end variant in its model series and it is powered by a 1.4-litre SOHC based common rail diesel engine that produces 68.5Bhp of maximum power, while yielding 160Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the company has discontinued the exterior paint options such as Colorado Red, Bright Yellow and replaced them with Mars Red and Paprika Red.

Exteriors:

The newly introduced Ford Figo comes with an improved style, thanks to the redesigned cosmetics. The company has modified the front bumper and also restructured the design of air dam and enhanced its overall size for better air intake. The console of the front fog lights have been reshaped, that brings a fresh new look. Its front upper grille gets the chrome garnish and it is decorated with the company logo in the center. The company has retained the interiors of this model, while installing some of the smart features inside. This engine is paired with an advanced 5-speed manual transmission gearbox that allows the front wheels to draw the commanding torque output. The company claims that the vehicle can give away a maximum mileage of about 20 Kmpl, which is pretty good.

Braking and Handling:

The refurbished version of Ford Figo is blessed with a disc and drum braking system that works efficiently in all conditions.
