A-Class, GL Class and E-Class help Mercedes-Benz Record 32.25% Growth
German auto major Mercedes-Benz that launched the all new A-Class luxury hatch and the E-Class facelift in the first quarter of 2013, has recorded 32.35% growth, which is the company's best ever Quarter result in the last 2 years. The company sold a total 1756 units in Q2 2013 (April-June) as against 1327 units in the corresponding period last year. Mercedes-Benz India also launched the GL-Class last year, which also contributed to this phenomenon growth. This is also the highest growth quarter for Mercedes-Benz India in the last 8 quarters.

Commenting on this impressive sales performance, Eberhard Kern, managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, “2013 is the Year of Offensive for MB in India. Our fully refreshed product line-up, with new segment introductions has received an overwhelming response from the customers. This has helped us achieve record results in Q2 2013. The B-Class CDI set for launch on 11-July 2013 is the next awaited launch from us and we have other fascinating product plans to follow the year through.
