5th-Oct-2011: Rolls Royce launched the Rolls Royce Ghost long wheelbase in India today at a voluptuous price of Rs 3.5 crore. The new car is equipped with a 6.6 liter V12 engine which can churn out a staggering 563hp power and a robust torque of 780 NM. The new Ghost long wheelbase dons a ZF8 sped gear box.
Rolls Royce is set to present their first coupe style model for the Ghost series, probably in 2013 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Along with this, speculations are that the ‘Corniche’ name will be revived. The masked mule for the Ghost coupe was spotted in Germany.read more
The race director's car this year for the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed is a the Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase. This is the designated pace car for the event. The Ghost boasts a V12 direct injection engine capable of delivering 563bhp which will be transferred via the 8-speed automatic transmission.
