Rolls-Royce Ghost

Rolls Royce is set to present their first coupe style model for the Ghost series, probably in 2013 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Along with this, speculations are that the ‘Corniche’ name will be revived. The masked mule for the Ghost coupe was spotted in Germany.

The race director's car this year for the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed is a the Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase. This is the designated pace car for the event. The Ghost boasts a V12 direct injection engine capable of delivering 563bhp which will be transferred via the 8-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle comes in mid-night sapphire colors with a silver satin bonnet. Other changes include a double-wishbone front suspension and a milti-link rear suspension.

The announcement ceremony of the fourth dealership in India coincided with the Chandigarh debut of the sixth new Rolls-Royce model, Ghost Extended Wheelbase. Building on the enormous success of Ghost in India, the car combines segment-leading cabin space with the driver dynamic that has endeared so many to Ghost. Rear-cabin passengers will have 170mm more room than the already ample space Ghost owners enjoy.
