Tata Harrier EV car latest update
Latest Update: Tata revealed an Emerald Green colour for the Harrier EV at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024.
Launch: The launch of the Harrier EV is expected later in 2024.
Prices: The Harrier EV is expected to have a starting price of Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
Seating Capacity: The Harrier EV can seat up to 5 passengers.
Battery, Motor and Range: The Harrier EV, based on the OMEGA Arc platform, could come with a battery pack bigger than that in the Nexon. The Harrier EV will have a dual-motor setup with an all-wheel drivetrain and could offer a range of more than 500 km.
Features: Key features will include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone automatic AC, ventilated front seats, 6-way power driver’s seat, 4-way powered co-driver’s seat, wireless phone charging, a panoramic sunroof (with mood lighting), and a gesture-enabled powered tailgate.
Safety: In terms of passenger safety, it will likely get up to seven airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and hill-hold and hill-descent control. The Harrier EV could also get the advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) seen with the ICE version of the Harrier.
Rivals: The Tata Harrier EV will take on the Mahindra XUV.e8, while being a premium alternative to the Hyundai Kona Electric and MG ZS EV.
