Its the best offroad SUV you can have in your budget. The performance and its styling will never disappoint you. An off-road enthusiast will enjoy most out of it. Seating comfort and infotainment are not so well built. Long length rides are comfortable for two as the rear suspension is not so great as it uses old leaf spring.

About Thar is a good offroader. Not good for a personal comfort drive for family. But for a family of 2 with an addition of hardtop, the Thar is a good SUV who loves the attention of youngsters and elders on the road. With the AC, power steering, floor downed pedals and ABS the Thar become easy to drive like a car. With some extra money for the suspension and to change the face to face back seat to front-facing seats it an excellent family car.

Mahindra Thar is a perfect SUV option and a great off-roader as well. Excellent design and the comfort of the car is amazing. THE 4*4 wheel drive makes the drive more interesting, with a medium maintenance cost too.

It's so nice car. It has an outer look and inner also with comfort and very safety. It's also used for friends trips or family trip.

THAR, the real comfort, overall performance is very cool, pickup is fantastic. Its mileage is great, 

Great driving experience. Superb designing. Mahindra Thar 4x4 has a lovely design and so wild that you will love to drive it at every place. It can easily compete with Jeep Compass if one or two minor changes are made. It is good on power, has an extremely good pick up considering it is a diesel vehicle. Further, power windows should be given in front. Manual is too basic. All in all, It is a good vehicle to make an impact but not very high on comfort.

Mahindra Thar is an awesome vehicle We can drive it on any type of roads, It is very comfortable in driving and also when we drive it on the hilly area, it is very safe and the engine is also good with great power.

I bought a Mahindra Thar last year. It looks like Jeep Wrangler. Interiors are ok. Back seats face eachother and are not comfortable. It is not a family suv. More of a style statement. People do give it a second look. No company provided music system as well. AC is good. For boys or men it is a good style statement for around ten lacs. It competes well with SUVs double its cost in oomph factor. Backrow seating should be changed. Airbags should be given to driver and other front seat. Door locks should be made smoother. Even if you lock the vehicle anyone and everyone has easy access from rear as it can not be locked. Some arrangement should be done so that when you lock the vehicle it is locked from everywhere and not semi locked. It can easily compete with jeep kompass if one or two minor changes are made. It is good on power,has extremely good pick up considering it is a diesel vehicle. Further, power windows should be given in front. Manual is too basic. A person spending ten lacs on a vehicle deserves power windows at least. All in all it is a good vehicle to make an impact but not very high on comfort. Out of five stars I will give it four.
