• What is Cardekho's Connected Car device?
  Ans: Cardekho's Connected Car Device is fitted with a telematics device that lets you stay connected with your car all the time and ensure safety, security and surveillance. The smart device can be connected to most of the cars allowing users to gain real-time access to a host of information such as location tracking, theft alerts, vehicle speed, usage statistics, and more.
• How does it work?
  Ans:There are three key components in device ecosystem: the device, the Internet and the mobile application.The device is the brain of the operation, gathering data from GPS satellites and sensors to send a host of live data including location, speed and orientation. Data is then encrypted and sent to a cloud server that validates, processes and stores it. This can be accessed from anywhere in the world using the CarDekho's mobile application.
• How does it benefit me?

• How will a CarDekho's Connected Car device be installed?
  Ans:After delivery of the device, our team will connect with you to schedule an installation visit to your premises. Our trained professional will install the device as per proper protocol.
• Does this device affect the warranty of my car?
  Ans:No, our devices are installed fully in compliance with automobile vendors. We don’t cut any wires in the vehicle making it warranty safe.
• Can I install the device myself?
  Ans:We would recommend this device to be installed by one of our trained executives in order to keep both vehicle and device warranty intact.
• What is the installation time taken?
  Ans:In case of a wired device, it takes less than 20 minutes for installation.
• Does CarDekho Connected Car device come with a battery?
  Ans:Yes, our CarDekho Connected Car device comes with a backup battery. The battery provides power back up for up to 8 hours. And in the event the wire/power supply of the device is cut, the battery back up automatically comes into function.
• Do i need to buy a SIM Card?
  Ans:No. Simcard is pre-installed in the device provided to you.
• Is a CarDekho's Connected Car device visible?
  Ans:No, the devices are installed in such a way so that they are not visible to anyone. Our Technicians ensure that the device is hidden securely.
• What about the warranty on Cardekho Connected Car Device?
  Ans:A standard warranty of 1 year is offered on our device.
• If I want to use your monthly service so is it possible?
  Ans:Currently we are offering only yearly subscription to our customers.
• How would i pay the amount for the Device?
  Ans:Through our Payment gateway link.
• How can I know about the device delivery time?
  Ans:After order confirmation, you will receive a link to track the real-time delivery status of your device on your mobile.
• What if the vehicle is out of network coverage area?
  Ans:CarDekho Connected Car device has been programmed to safely store information in the onboard data storage. Once a stable Internet connection is established, all of the data is securely sent to the cloud.
• What is the primary power source of this device?
  Ans:Ans: The device gets its power from the battery of the vehicle.
• What is Geo-fence?
  Ans:Geo-fencing is creation of a virtual perimeter that is set around a particular geographical area. The boundary is set such that as and when the vehicle, or a personnel, enters or exits the location, instant alerts are triggered. This will enable the user to discern the exact location the device is at, along with an accurate log of movements made. A geo-fence is curated with the help of GPS, which provides precise location coordinates. In order to set the “fence” around a particular region, you can specify the distance and the diameter as per your business needs.
