Amazing Maruti Eeco

Every one who has driven Maruti Vehicle will perhaps not like driving other vehicle in respect of engine performance, little push of accelerator adds the power to the vehicle and people feel other vehicle little harder to drive due to less response of engine with accelerator paddle, of course old Maruti vehicle had lesser safety and other feature, even if you can not get power window and power steering in some base model vehicle by Maruti. But if some one wants to have tension free driving and a power full engine with good mileage, nothing is better than Maruti Vehicle. I owned Maruti 800, then Wagon R , power of these vehicle never let me felt weaker with full load. This time I have Verna and Eeco, engine of Eeco is far better than Verna, although Eeco has 1200 CC engine while Verna VTVT has 1400 cc engine but Eeco needs very lesser gear shifting and gives more power feeling. No doubt Eeco has no power steering, no power window but the steering of Maruti vehicle remains very smooth even if without power steering. This 5 seater vehicle was purchased last year, I got fixed two small seat in back as 7 seater Eeco has no AC so if some one wants to have AC then he will have to buy 5 seater then get fixed small seats by spending Rs10000, This vehicle's full width is useful as door panels are not thick so in back seats easily four person can sit. I drove this vehicle from Jamshedpur to Gaya around 380 kms with max speed of 100 kmph and six person with luggage inside, Performance was awesome, vehicle was found full stable, mileage of +18 kmpl was found. While returning nine persons were easily accommodated and the engine power never made me feel that it is pulling load with little difficulty. Although my Verna has more features, amazing look quite comfortable but I felt driving Eeco is more pleasant and comfortable, its engine is more responsive and power full, Eeco has huge space which makes it comparable to seven seater SUV like Sumo at very low price, certainly Sumo is more tough with bigger wider wheels but in respect of space and engine power Eeco may be superior. It has better ground clearance also, petrol tank lid is just under drivers door. Negative point of this vehicle may be poor dash board and interior look, back seats without head rest, lack of attractive features. But the service after sale of Maruti is un-comparable, their follow up prior and after servicing is very good. I always felt that any compliant at Maruti service center is dealt very seriously to keep customer pleased. Certainly this vehicle can not give the feel of hatch back or sedan it has different class without any luxury but if some one wants to have a family vehicle for travelling or picnic at moderate price can go for Maruti Eeco with closing eye, thanks to Maruti for making such amazing vehicle at such price.
