The Adventure trim is further divided into 3 sub-variants: Adventure+, Adventure+ A, and Adventure+ Dark.

Tata has recently given a makeover to its 5-seater flagship SUV, the Harrier. The SUV has undergone comprehensive styling changes and now gets a new center console, along with some new features. Customers also have the option to reserve the Tata Harrier facelift for a token amount of Rs 25,000.

Additionally, Tata has updated the variant lineup of the SUV and is now offering it in four broad variants: Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Fearless. In this story, we provide a detailed look at the second-to-top Adventure variant of the new Harrier, showcasing it in 6 images.

Starting with the front look, the Adventure variant of the Tata Harrier facelift appears nearly identical to its top-spec Fearless variant. It features a big parametric grille and an air dam, both finished in chrome. Below the air dam, there is a prominent silver skid plate, similar to the lower-spec Smart and Pure variants. However, if you opt for the top-spec Fearless variant of the Harrier facelift, the skid plate is blacked out.

The Harrier Adventure features connected LED DRLs and projector LED headlights with a "follow-me-home" function. What sets it apart from its lower-spec models is the inclusion of LED fog lamps. If you choose the Adventure+ variant, the SUV will additionally come equipped with automatic headlights and front parking sensors. The Adventure+ is also available in the Dark edition, which is finished in an Oberon Black exterior shade.

The biggest highlight on the side of the Harrier Adventure is the fresh set of 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Other elements on the side include blacked-out ORVMs, body coloured door handles, side cladding, and a ‘Harrier’ moniker on front doors.

The Adventure+ variant of the Harrier facelift gets 18-inch alloys wheels, while Adventure+ Dark gets even bigger 19-inch blacked out units and the ‘Dark’ badging on the front fenders.

At the rear, the Adventure variant of the Tata Harrier facelift features the connected LED taillamps, and silver finished skid plate. Tata is also offering this variant of the Harrier facelift with a rear defogger but it’s still missing out on rear fog lamps.

The cabin of the Harrier Adventure boasts a dual-tone (black and tan) layered dashboard layout with black-leathette seat upholstery, unlike the grey fabric upholstery on Smart and Pure variants. It also gets a 4-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo.

The Dark edition based on the Adventure+ variant of the updated Harrier comes with an all-black cabin theme with black leatherette seat upholstery.

Tata has equipped the Harrier Adventure with a 10.25-inch touchscreen information system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, and a 6-speaker (4-speakers and 2 tweeters) audio system. Over the Pure variant, the Harrier Adventure also gets push-button engine start/stop, cruise control, height adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, multi-colour ambient lighting on the dashboard, and one-touch driver side window.

At the rear, the Adventure variant of the Harrier also comes with sunshades and rear armrest with cupholders. It also gets Type-A and Type-C charging ports for first and second rows. Additionally, the Adventure+ variant of the SUV comes with features like an air purifier, wireless phone charging, and a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof.

In terms of safety, the Harrier Adventure gets six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC) with hill hold, rear parking camera and sensors, tyre pressure monitoring system, 3-point seatbelts with reminder for all passengers, and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.

Powertrain Option

The 2023 Tata Harrier comes with a 2-litre diesel engine which makes 170PS and 350Nm, mated to either a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission (available from the Adventure trim onwards). The Adventure variant of the Tata Harrier facelift gets multi-drive modes (eco, city, sport) and multi-terrain modes (normal, rough, and wet) as well.

The automatic transmission variant of the Adventure+ variant also comes with paddle shifters.

Expected Price & Rivals
