Only the Hyundai Venue, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger SUVs are readily available this October, but not in all top 20 cities mentioned in our list
The sub-4m segment has been one of the most hotly contested SUV spaces lately. It boasts of as many as eight models, including the sportier Hyundai Venue N Line. Given their popularity, we decided to check out which SUV can be brought home immediately while looking at the model(s) commanding the maximum wait times in top 20 cities this October:

The Maruti Brezza is enduring a maximum wait time of up to four months. It can be had the quickest in two months in cities like New Delhi, Pune and Noida.

Even though the Tata Nexon facelift was launched recently, its waiting period is relatively less than some of its segment rivals. It has the maximum waiting time of up to three months in Hyderabad and Faridabad.

Both the Hyundai Venue and Hyundai Venue N Line are witnessing an average wait time of three months. While the Venue can be driven home immediately in Bengaluru and Indore, the Venue N Line has the maximum waiting period of five months in cities like Chennai, Lucknow and Chandigarh.

The Kia Sonet has an average waiting period of around two months this October. That said, buyers in Mumbai and Lucknow will have to wait the longest by up to three months.

With up to seven months of wait time in Bengaluru, it’s the Mahindra XUV300 that has the maximum waiting period among subcompact SUVs this October. It can be taken home in Chennai the quickest with just one month of waiting.

Both the Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger have similar waiting periods of up to one month in October 2023. While the Magnite is readily available in Coimbatore, the Kiger can be driven home immediately in Pune and Patna.
