Latest Update: The Hyundai Ioniq 5 now gets a new ‘Titan Grey’ exterior paint option, while it also gets the option of an all-black cabin theme, called ‘Obsidian Black’.

Price: The India-spec Ioniq 5 is priced at Rs 46.05 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India).

Seating Capacity: It can seat up to five people.

Colours: It can be had in 4 exterior colour options: Gravity gold matte, Optic white, Midnight black pearl, and Titan grey.

Battery, Electric Motor and Range: The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is powered by a 72.6 kWh battery pack mated to a single rear-wheel-drive electric motor which makes 217 PS and 350 Nm. It offers an ARAI-claimed range of 631 km.

Charging: It supports 2 charging options: 

-An 11 kW AC charger: 6 hours 55 minutes (0-100%)

- A 50 kW charger: 57 minutes (10-80%)

Features: Key features include a 12.3-inch infotainment and driver displays, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control and a heads-up display.

Safety: It gets six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and a 360-degree camera.

Rivals: The Ioniq 5 rivals the Kia EV6 and BYD Seal while also being an alternative to the Volvo XC40 Recharge, BMW i4 and the upcoming Skoda Enyaq iV.
