I was in need of a big-sized SUV which would fit my budget. There were only two cars which fit the requirements - the Mahindra XUV500 and Tata Safari Storme as both of them are seven seaters. I wanted the Storme as the service center was near and since I drive the car myself, that was inpoetant. In my test drive of the Storme, the sitting position was amazing. It felt heavenly but as I was comparing it with the XUV500, both of them felt the same and have the same mileage. What really disappoiread full review...
Though Safari Storme has a fine external appearance, it really doesn't look as good as its rivals such as the Scorpio or Xylo. The car is equipped with a fantastic engine which delivers power in an impressive way. The most impressive thing about the car is its suspension and ride quality. You won't really feel the bumps of the roads and this SUV really offers you a wonderful and comfortable ride. But, the interiors feels more outdated than other cars. My Storme joined my fleet of cars two years ago. First of all, the 2.2L VARICOR engine has been tweaked for more power and now produces 156 PS of power along with 400Nm of torque which is mated to a new 6-speed manual gearbox, with a self-adjusting clutch which gives this SUV a more car-like feel.
