I purchased my Kwid in the middle of August 2016 and have been using it for the last 2.5 months now. This is my sixth car since I started driving in 1991. So far I have been a Maruti loyalist, having driven Maruti 800, Alto & SX4. Did try other brands like Chevrolet (Spark) and Ford (Ecosport) but I found the overall satisfaction only with Maruti. After having recently sold my SX4, I wanted to go for a small car for the reasons of traffic congestion, convenience and economy. Given th
2015 has been one of the most eventful years in the Indian automotive industry. Right from Mercedes-Benz India's 15 new launches to the all-new Renault Kwid that truly uplifted the small car segment. The Kwid is one of the best-selling cars in India. It is easily one of the best-looking entry level hatchbacks in the country and is doing well for Renault in India. As per the Indian customers thinking, Renault Kwid provides all features at a very low cost that we can't imagine as compared t
The Kwid is a fantastic pack for first time car user. It looks stunning, offers a comfortable ride, amazing space, high ground clearance and value for money. Renault should work on noise, and the city mileage is also not as expected. The back seat should be adjustable (maybe it uses trunk space). ABS and airbag should also be included. Overall it is an excellent car.
Someone like me who long desired to buy an SUV but can't afford finally got a car like Renault Kwid.I bought it with completly relying on car review from CARDEKHO.COM and booked on first sight from Kolkata Central without any test drive. I waited for almost six months and got my delivery. I drove the car from city to the rural Bengal. It was a smooth drive, no significant noise, average 16-17 Kmpl with 90-100 Kmph speed. So many appreciations. It was a tough decision to take for a car newly
This car is good for the hilly area, for most of the middle Himalayan belt, as its ground clearance is good as compared to another vehicle of the same range. Secondly, its look is very attractive for a car rally. If we talk about the fuel efficiency, its better than other cars of the same range. Secondly, its power is good for hilly areas. If we talk about its mileage in the city then it's wonderful and for the hilly area its good. It is important here to mention that this car is also good
I was already impressed by the looks of this car. I have always loved SUVs and the high stance of the Kwid gives you that feel. Renault is making the product better by offering alloy wheels in coming months. Then I drove the vehicle and it did not disappoint me. I could feel the punch in the car which was missing in the Alto 800 and Eon. The power figures are completely justified. There is enough torque for a petrol mill so that is another plus. There are cons with almost everything in the worl
Just bought Renault Kwid RXT model 13 days back, on 6 August, 2016, which incidentally happens to be my birthday too. This is the second car I bought on my birthday. The first was Tata Manza and now the Kwid. What a car, a total eye candy. This car gives so many features at a very reasonable and affordable price. Be it a 7-inch screen with navigation, points of interest, Bluetooth connectivity, FM, USB & 3.5 mm jack to fulfil all your audio needs. And that's not all, good storage space i
It's an amazing car, with cheap and best value for money. It gives an image of SUV like feeling. I was really surprised at the cost in the beginning. I thought its worth to buy, and I'm very luck for purchase this amazing car , I would be thanking Renault group for providing this excellent car. I also recommended it to my family members and friends. Interiors are awesome and amazing at this price, very smooth in long driving also. The Maruti Alto has, so far, been the unchallenged maste
I am really getting crazy, why everyone is choosing this worst car. pros: 1. GPS 2. Good seating 3. Wheel base 4. Ground clearance 5. Good pickup 6. Touch screen cons: 1.Bad gear shifts quality 2. Poor engine 3. Low engine cubic capacity 4. Worst ever stereo 5. Low-quality plastics 6. Poor quality interior 7. Noisy engine 8.Bad suspension Well coming to the driving experience it has a fair pickup from 1st to 2nd gear transmission, and then on shifting from 2nd to 3rd it has the
Before going to review I want to share my experience while buying, I booked the Kwid RXT model from a dealer in Kolkata last winter and got the chance to test drive my own car this summer after almost 6 months of waiting period. This is one of the problems new customer of this car might have to face. Earlier at the time of bookings, I was in a dilemma whether to go for the Kwid or Alto 800, but made my decision just based on the great, sporty and muscular looks of the Kwid. Now coming on to the
Renault Kwid is an entry level car and comes with complete package for the first time car buyer. It has macho looks, good mileage and is fantastically priced which means it is value for money. I hope every single person will look for above features while buying his/her car.
I recently bought Kwid. The car's look was able to impress me given the high stance of it. The ride quality was not as per expectations. I own an Alto 800 and I expected the Kwid to be much better. The three-cylinder engine resulted in too many vibrations at the onset. The car though rides well as soon as you reach around 2000 rpm. I could also feel good power delivery capacity on high rpm. But as far as ride quality is concerned, Eon is the smoothest of all. I really like the accelerating
The Renault Kwid is most the affordable car is this segment. Unique crossover-like exterior design, high-quality tech-packed spacious interiors, small efficient engines. Its ground clearance is very efficient in a town like conditions in India. Buyers of this car are from the middle-class family they use the same car for a city like conditions as well as for long trips. This car is good for both as it is small which can be good in the city but it is long like sedan which grips the road and SUV-l
As I go through the rest of reviews I found that many of them given positive and negative opinions for this car. Respecting their own opinion my advice is, it is a compact budgeted car in his class. Don't compare it with other class. I am one of the oldest owners of this Kwid rxt edition almost driving experiencing it off 1 year. I myself am a mechanical design engineer and I know how much Renault has given a huge effort in terms of interior and exterior designing of this car. If you go for
With a lot of enthusiasm, I brought home the Renault Kwid on 29th February 2016. The journey has been downhill since then. I have driven the vehicle for only 2700 kms and have been to the service centre multiple times, every time with a new problem. Recently, I had given my car for repairs at NCR Renault to resolve the water logging issue. Now the most recent problem that I have noticed is that the "Engine immobiliser" check light keeps on blinking. I forcefully called up the service ce
