Hi guys, I own 2 cars i.e. a kwid & an elite i20 & i use my kwid for daily usage, so today I will be sharing my opinion about the kwid with you all. I wanted an automatic transmission car & I liked kwid a lot & when I came to know that its AMT variant is available I purchased it in december & I loved it & after a month of usage I would like to share my experience. I bought the automatic variant & it is extremely comfortable to drive & overall I am happy with my de
I bought my Kwid RXT AMT in December and got it delivered on Jan after the waiting period. Till now i have driven almost 1950 km all around the city and i am from chennai. Pretty much impressed with the performance so far. I got my first service done too in month of March. The overall City Mileage clocks close to 15 kmpl with AC ON now. AC set to 2 points. I got Decent Cooling. Space inside the car seated 3 medium built people at back with relative ease. Just got my reading done yesterday only.
Yesterday I went to a Renault showroom to test-ride Kwid. I was already impressed by the looks of the car. I have always loved SUVs and the high stance of Kwid gives you that feel. Renault is making the product better by offering alloy wheels in coming months. Then I drove the vehicle and it did not disappoint me. I could feel the punch in the car which was missing in the Alto 800 and Eon. The power figures are completely justified. There is enough torque for a petrol mill so that is another plu
Look and Style: In all the reviews, this vehicle is being compared with Alto, Eon etc but, in terms of exterior appearance and looks, Alto and Eon will not be a comparison at all. Kwid Looks very elegant, bold and very big in size, this is very much on par with Santro, i10, Beat, Celerio etc. Comfort: The steering is very smooth and a pleasure to drive. A/C is also pretty good. Mileage: Currently, I'm getting 13 Kmpl as per the digital instrument cluster in the city condition with A/C ON.
I recently took a test drive of the Kwid. The car's looks were able to impress me given the high stance of it. The ride quality was not as per expectations. I own a Alto 800 and I expected the Kwid to be much better. The three-cylinder engine resulted in too much vibrations at the onset. The car though rides well as soon as you reach around 2000 rpm. I could also feel good power delivery capacity on high rpm. But as far as ride quality is concerned, Eon is the smoothest of all. I really lik
They say the slow and steady wins the race! Well, Renault is surely on its way towards winning the race in its slow and steady pace. Fortunately, Renault came out to be the first company that recognized the demands of we Indians that in the end, all it matters is "Kitna Deti Hai? (Fuel Efficiency)" and along with that that Indians love to be seated in a big car. Renault took the market by storm with Duster earlier and now it's on the path to give a blow to the entry-level hatchback
Renault Kwid is the most affordable car for All People. It's a like an SUV model. Colour is also nice. So comfortable and a stylish car in minimum cost. The latest Renault Kwid comes with a lot of new features including a more fuel-efficient engine and a multimedia system supporting both Android and Apple smartphones, all in a classy and sleeker body. With a better fuel economy and top-line specification levels. Exterior - Bold structured front grille C-shaped signature headlamps Black
New Kwid 1.0 has decals, sporty looks along with dual colour mirrors. So it's for sure a head turner. And its offering all the top end accessories as well with its top end model RXT and RXT(O). With 1000 CC engine it surely has revved up its engine capacity in terms of speed and more power. Numbers:- 999CC engine with 67bhp and 91Nm that's 14bhp and 19Nm more than the 800cc unit makes currently. How it fares on this new engine? To be frank there is not much of difference in respec
Let's start with some clarifications. This review is based on the 2015 Kwid, petrol model, RXL (medium version). First of all the car looks stunning. The SUV like feel in a small car is like a breath of fresh air in this price segment. You can look at this car from any angle, and you would never once feel that you are looking at an entry-level compact car. Its sharp edges in the front and the curve at the back give it a masculine look. The interiors are great too. The RXT version has got
I have a very small family only me and my wife so I need a decent car in the low range. I did research on many cars. And I found that the Renault KWID is suitable for my requirement. So want to go with it. Based on my personal belief I will describe cars features in each aspect, which might helpful for you to select your car. Price: In India when we buy anything or car the price matter more than other things. So I think Renault KWID is best in that segment of range. It has many models with d
I purchased my Kwid in the middle of August 2016 and have been using it for the last 2.5 months now. This is my sixth car since I started driving in 1991. So far I have been a Maruti loyalist, having driven Maruti 800, Alto & SX4. Did try other brands like Chevrolet (Spark) and Ford (Ecosport) but I found the overall satisfaction only with Maruti. After having recently sold my SX4, I wanted to go for a small car for the reasons of traffic congestion, convenience and economy. Given th
I was thinking to buy the Alto K10 without seeing this car. When I was ready to buy the Alto K10, I finally saw this car. I like the car and felt better than the Alto K10 and decided to buy the Kwid and then I booked it. I got this car after a period of one month three days. This car is better than the Alto K10 in every way; it has a lot of space. There is a 7-inch touch screen which is not available even in cars costlier by 2-3 lakh. It is very easy to drive this car. I can see both the ends
As of now, it is the only car with necessary features for first-time buyers. The controls are good, sizes are good, Look wise perfect, markups are good to identify. In terms of Exterior the car is great at every angle. It catches everyone's attention on road. The best of the front design is SUV-inspired. It is very attractive with front grill chromes. Keep in mind that it is an extra accessory as per the dealer. On side view, it should have been a straight, bold shoulder line. But due to the
2015 has been one of the most eventful years in the Indian automotive industry. Right from Mercedes-Benz India's 15 new launches to the all-new Renault Kwid that truly uplifted the small car segment. The Kwid is one of the best-selling cars in India. It is easily one of the best-looking entry level hatchbacks in the country and is doing well for Renault in India. As per the Indian customers thinking, Renault Kwid provides all features at a very low cost that we can't imagine as compared t
I own an maruthi alto 800 since January 2014. Recently, we had purchased a Renault Kwid for my father in law. This purchase was done after doing much comparisons and reviews especially from Cardekho and my experience with alto 800. I have driven Kwid 2000 KM plus. Here i would like to present a comparison study with Kwid & alto 800. i hope that would be helpful for buyers to choose their first car.Exteriors :There is no doubt about that Kwid has got an excellent looks from exterior. Really,
Renault KWID has Best the hatchback market in India. I bought the car in the february 2016 after launch and I am fully satisfied with its performance. The entry level hatch KWID is decent in terms of comfort and looks and as far as the price point is concerned. I was very impressed with its SUVish looks and upmarket interiors with facilities of touchscreen infotainment and even airbag for the driver. Renault KWID, despite being a hatchback is quite spacious and we three adults were able to fit
The Kwid is a fantastic pack for first time car user. It looks stunning, offers a comfortable ride, amazing space, high ground clearance and value for money. Renault should work on noise, and the city mileage is also not as expected. The back seat should be adjustable (maybe it uses trunk space). ABS and airbag should also be included. Overall it is an excellent car.
Someone like me who long desired to buy an SUV but can't afford finally got a car like Renault Kwid.I bought it with completly relying on car review from CARDEKHO.COM and booked on first sight from Kolkata Central without any test drive. I waited for almost six months and got my delivery. I drove the car from city to the rural Bengal. It was a smooth drive, no significant noise, average 16-17 Kmpl with 90-100 Kmph speed. So many appreciations. It was a tough decision to take for a car newly
It is an amazing car. Its design is better than the Maruti Alto K10. It is not easy to take on the might of the market leader, Maruti Suzuki, especially in the small car space. Hyundai's Eon almost made it, Datsun gave it a Go too. Now, Renault is all set to give it a shot. It has developed its brand in the Indian market primarily on the back of the Duster. And this segment - the crossover/compact SUV space - has been recession-proof for quite a few years now. Not just in India, but across t
I was skeptical in buying Kwid when it was launched, however, with the cost being reasonable and the perks you get I didnt want to miss an opportunity and hence went ahead and bought this muscular beauty. It is truly an awesome car especially for city ride and even going on a long travel. This car is at best in this class compared any other car maker in this segment.I decided to take a test drive and make my decision, after all alto and eon have been in the market for long but without many cosme
