I brought a new Renault Kwid 800 cc version last year in June. The car, as promised and marketed by Renault is way poorer in performance. Here is a brief review:- Mileage Renault promises a mileage of 24 to 25 km a liter, but in reality, the car has not till date delivered anything more than 12-14 kms a liter. Power It definitely feels under-powered, especially when driven with five people sitting inside the same. While climbing hills and slopes, the car lacks the punch. Built Still to early
I stay in Hyderabad and bought this car in May 2016, there are few good points about this car but the main feature is very substandard, and even the service is very pathetic. The car starts to behave jerky and even stops suddenly even while on first gear when trying to go up the slopes in Hyderabad prime roads if you have turned on the AC then, even more, worse, you will have a nightmare. The transition between the first and second gears are worse. Once I had a dent at the front end disfiguring
I am using theKwid. As the mileage is poor, just giving 12 to 13kmpl. Performance is not good. The spare parts are very delicate. Engine oil chamber is made up with plastic, and it got damaged when a small stone hit it. Due to this, I suffered a heavy loss of around Rs 45000.
With a lot of enthusiasm, I brought home the Renault Kwid on 29th February 2016. The journey has been downhill since then. I have driven the vehicle for only 2700 kms and have been to the service centre multiple times, every time with a new problem. Recently, I had given my car for repairs at NCR Renault to resolve the water logging issue. Now the most recent problem that I have noticed is that the "Engine immobiliser" check light keeps on blinking. I forcefully called up the service ce
Like others, I was also influenced by looks of the Kwid. In of terms of look, the Kwid is one of the best option within that budget along with all the promises by Renault. I am not totally happy with this car. Mileage is not up to the mark as they claim. My car hardly gives between 11-13 kilometres per litre km in the city which makes me completely disappointed. I have discussed it with services centre people and they say this is the mileage you get in the city. So, this is one of the biggest an
When I first saw it the first thought that came to my mind was that it looks amazing car under 5 lac so decided to get a test drive of it. Exteriors are superb when you see it from a far distance but when you get a closer look the build quality is bit low which makes it feel a little down market same as with interiors build quality make it look down market because of cheap plastic materials, for looks thumbs up for both exteriors and interiors but build quality is poor. Now comes engine part tha
So I bought this car two months back and to utter dissatisfaction I've sold it now with quite a loss. Whenever anyone in my family buys a car, our prime concern is safety and thereafter driveability, and this one is a big no on both ends. My start with this car was quite shocking as the day after I bought it, reports of it scoring a ZERO in safety tests became public and to further disappointment the fact that even the airbag option which I bought was no different. So I paid some 10-15l fo
I purchased the Kwid. Unfortunately, it is my biggest regret. I got the delivery of the car in March 2016. After doing 350 Kms on the odometer, there was a squeaky noise from the brakes. The brakes were scrubbed and put back and within 10 Kms from the workshop, the problem emerged again. The pick up was a pain in traffic as there was a sudden loss of power. A few weeks later I realized there is an underbody sound which was like the sound of a broken suspension arm. Later this was fixed at the wo
Exterior looks is goodInterior (Features, Space & Comfort), Interior is like Piagio Auto, comfort is not good, body vivaration, door sound, two times horn reparied after that also horn not working, many of the parts has been chagend so far, total KM 12000. and I forced to go for extended warranty as within first year many of the parts failed Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox - Very noisy egnine like Sonalika Tracktors, pickup is poor while AC is on, gear shift is not smoothRide Q
Renault Kwid Mileage is so bad in city it's give only 12 or 13 and and Renault Service staff member are not listening any kind of Complain.I have repeatedly no one taking serious.
I bought Renault Kwid RXT with lot of hopes, during july 2016. They claimed 25 kmpl. But the sad thing is that I didnt even get an average mileage of 15kmpl, in city riding, in Chennai. I have driven approx 5000km now almost, I have spent on Petrol around Rs.18000/- I feel now that Renault Kwid is a white elephant for me. I dont recommend to any body. and viewers please do not go for kwid if you are mileage concerned.
I own a DUSTER since 2013, been a loyal customer, I won't even get a simple wheel rotation done outside. Always gave excellent feedback. I liked Renault that much. I wish to still do. Be it a simple consultation or a regular service, have always liked the guys at Service (Bangalore & Coimbatore). But recently, I went to buy a KWID (Coimbatore), the sales guys didn't help in any way, I waited eagerly for the launch of KWID AMT, I asked for a call when the bookings open, but got no
