I used the vehicle on 10th and 11th October for a trip from Bangalore to Mysore and back to Bangalore (for 330 Kms distance in 2 days time) with my family of 7 members (4 adults and 3 children). My detailed feedback is as below Good points: 1. Seats are comfortable in the front, middle and in third rows. 2. Space is very good in front and middle rows but just fine in the last row. 3. Road view is very good. 4. Start
Look and Style: Definitely the XUV500 is a crowd puller with its stylish looks and aerodynamic contours. I like the sleekness of the body and design of the body. Mahindra has added electronic features in the car with GPS, Bluetooth, DVD player, touch screen, voice recognition and what not. Though, I have my doubts with the robustness of these electronic features. Comfort: The XUV 500 comfortable seats, including the first and second row. Driver seat is most comfortable and stylish with its 5-
Look and Style : The Mahindra XUV 500 is a sporty SUV. It seems to be an attractive and well-balanced SUV with it's big and macho looking wheel arches. I think XUV 500 with it's uniquely shaped and carved grille looks stunning. Both the interior and exterior of the car make it stylish and different from other cars of the same SUV segment. Comfort : In my opinion, Mahindra XUV 500 will be one of the best cars with its high-end comfort level in the SUV segment. I feel it is a premium SUV
I bought the XUV 500 W6 on 11th October, this car is very good in terms of acceleration, braking, and stability. NVH levels inside the car are also very good. Driving is also comfortable. However, the electronics are a bit of disappointment. Most of the sensors keep blinking despite any issue, LED has stopped working. I also had issues with the brake hose leakage and clutch. Braking is hard after a long drive. The infotainment system had stopped working twice and needed to be replaced. Maybe Ma
Look and Style : Very Good, it doesn't look too bulky and very stylish and something new to the Indian market. Comfort - Good, did not get to drive a long distance but felt very comfortable. No wobbling or ruling at all on braking and turnings. Pickup - Very good, it was taking off very well on 2WD model can imagine how the 4WD model is going to be. Mileage - Not very good as far as I seen it on the display system, it was showing only 9.2 kmpl, though the showroom guys claimed to get 1
Look and Style : On this front, the XUV 500 took me by surprise. The vehicle looks much better than the pr photos dished out during launch on the net. Having lived abroad a long time I am used to PR photos being better than the actual product . In the case of the XUV , the vehicle looked much more polished and refined than the publicity photos. I think they need a better official photographer. The dimension and proportions and the interior too were extremely good. Just a bit kiddish compared to
Mahindra & Mahindra Claims that the safety airbag will be deployed in case of a collision but in it didn't happen in my case. The car was hit by a speeding bus and the Airbags didn't deploy. The car was badly damaged and the passengers got hurt despite having the safety bag inside it.
Look and Style: It is definitely one of the better-looking SUVs out there. Comfort: Very comfortable except for the last row. Pickup: Good. It overtakes other vehicles without breaking a sweat. Mileage: I have done about 15,000 km and I'm getting nearly 13kmpl. Best Features: Its ride and handling, especially in the mountains with plenty of twists and turns. Needs to improve: A lot! I've faced endless niggling issues. Starting with the maps that require a genius to rea
Mahindra XUV 5OO was launched in Nov 2011 and since then it had a dream run. Though initially 5OO had poor rating from people migrating from the Innovas later on this model has taken up the market in its own segment. Even now with a price range between 13-20L I believe there isnt much cars that can beat the 5OO in style / features or the durability the mahindra engine gives you. I'm not saying its a perfect made car; there are glitches especially in the plastic quality when compared to the N
I have been using Xuv500 for three years. Its been giving a great pleasure for the first two years but now its having a disturbing when traveling through the roads which have potholes. i bought it at the first time because it had very impressive looks and can have very good pleasure when riding and even if parked at anywhere . Xuv500 had got many awards at the times of 2011-2012 .which is also a another point to buy it.it had a very aggressive engine which offers a great a thrill to drive and al
