I am an XUV owner since the past 1 year. I own a W6 variant and I am deeply disappointed with the car. XUV500 looks good and muscular but the built of the car is very bad. From outside the vehicle looks quite appealing but the worst part are the brakes. I virtually came out alive twice in XUV500 for the fault of the brakes. The effectiveness of the brakes are very poor for sudden braking, after the speed of 100km/hr. If you suddenly stop the XUV over a speed above 100kmph it will stop after travelling a lot of distance. You can meet with an accident. I had sent my vehicle to the service centre and got a reply that this is the defect by birth and cannot be solved.
This is the worst car I have ever purchased and driven. They sell defective cars and then tell you that as per their policy they can only repair parts. They don't even replace the engine or gearbox in less than 300 Km of use. So, it's better to buy a secondhand car rather than paying for a new one and getting it converted. Mahindra needs to improve the team that takes care of the customer complaints . They don't even reply back forget about taking any action. It's a nightmare.
