Vento Automatic

The is very streamlined, and may i suggest get the original spoiler fixed, it makes the car look awesome. An extra 14K. Very comfortable drive, even the leg space for the rear seats are good. The boot has sufficient space. Here i would like to add that VW Vento is a heavier car as compared to Honda and other Japanese cars. In fact all German cars are heavy- solid body. It can take a lot of beating. The pick up is a bit sluggish, but once it shifts to lower gear it becomes quite wild. It is my personal opinion that Vento is a shade under powered because of its weight factor. If you race it with VW Polo 1.6 ltr, you will certainly be humbled. The mileage factor which we all are concerned about is silly relative. If you are driving in city's like Delhi, Mumbai, Ludhiana, Jullunder etc, you will certainly not get 10 km because of dense traffic, however, if you are n places like Himachal, Bihar, Jharkand or wherever the traffic is less, you will get over 12 in city and on highways, one can easily get between 15-17 km. I like the joy stick (automatic), its very smooth. There is nothing extra ordinary about the vehicle. It needs to improve the pick up, besides adding a few controls including cruise control on the steering. The brakes are very good, but early morning they grunt a bit. The engine sounds needs to be reduced further. Overall a good vehicle, if you are into German technology. Its a no-nonsense car.
